About Me

I have worked in the music business in Nashville for 20+ years, with promotion & marketing adventures at MCA Records, Rounder Records, All Access Music Group, Midas Records, World Vision Artists, Yamaha Entertainment, and have represented a variety of other companies both inside and outside of the music industry. I have additional experience in management, A&R, and spent six years in radio before moving to Nashville. Currently, I am Owner-Operator of Songwriter City, which provides top songwriter round type entertainment for corporate and private events from Music City’s biggest hit makers.

Some of the recording artists I have worked directly with or for:  George Strait, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Trisha Yearwood, Marty Stuart, Lee Ann Womack, Emerson Drive, Wynonna, Gary Allan, Amy Grant, The Mavericks, Sons Of The Desert, Mark Chesnutt, Rhonda Vincent, Olivia Newton John, Dan Tyminski, Whiskey Falls, Tracy Byrd,  Rodney Crowell, George Jones, Jamie O’Neal, Jerry Douglas, Nathan East, and others.

I’m an avid photographer, which provides a nice creative diversion, and also enjoy traveling, food, wine, gardening, history, culture (especially Southern culture), hiking, and estate auctions.

I am originally from a small town outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Married to the fabulous Amy and we have a 13 year old daughter. Thank you for visiting!

I am on the Board of the Adamson Alumni Association of Adamson High School (formerly Oak Cliff High School). My deceased uncle was a classmate of Young’s and I have several copies of the 1927 Oak Cliff High yearbook with a photo of Young and a little more detail of activities in which he was involved. Email me or call me at (972) 699-1392 if you are interested in the yearbook.
